This is a short, plain-English note — not a legal product and not advice. CardScope is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.

The service

CardScope estimates how a URL’s link preview may appear on X, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, and iMessage from publicly advertised meta tags. Clients change their unfurlers without notice. Our shells are plausible, not official, and not affiliated with those platforms.

Acceptable use

• Only submit URLs you are allowed to request.
• Do not use CardScope to probe private networks, steal data, or hammer other people’s servers.
• We rate-limit the free plan (3 checks / day / IP) and may block abuse.

Pro

Pro is a $19 one-time license for unlimited checks, a shareable report link (7-day TTL), and PNG export. It is not a subscription, not an SLA, and not a team seat. Refunds, if any, are handled by the operator via Stripe — ask by email if something went wrong.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardScope’s operator is not liable for lost profits, misfired launches, or a social card that still looks wrong in production. If that is unacceptable, don’t use the tool.

Changes

We may change these terms or shut the service down. The privacy note explains what we store.
