Link card instrument

See the card before you share.

Paste any URL. CardScope fetches it from the edge, reads the Open Graph and Twitter tags, and shows how the unfurl will look on X, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, and iMessage — with a checklist of what to fix. No account. We do not store page HTML.

3 free checks per day per IP · Pro is $19 once · Crawlers only see meta tags, not a screenshot of the live page.

Five clients, five crops

The same URL never looks the same.

Static demo of the five shells. Run a live check to fill them from real tags.

How it works

Meta tags only. Then we forget the page.

01

Fetch at the edge

A Worker retrieves the URL you pasted, with a size cap and a blocklist for private hosts. The HTML never hits a disk.

02

Read the tags

Open Graph, Twitter, document title, description, favicon. Image bytes are peeked only to learn dimensions.

03

Score the unfurl

Each client has quirks. Slack prefers OG. Discord leans on twitter:card. iMessage collapses without og:image. We say so plainly.

Pricing

Free to try. Nineteen dollars to keep.

One-time Pro, not a subscription. An API for CI is later — not in this version.

Check a URL

Privacy, in one sentence

We fetch the page you asked for, parse tags in memory, and discard the HTML. Rate limits store a hash of your IP for 48 hours. Pro licenses are stored as hashes. Shared reports store parsed tags only, for seven days. Read the note.

Resources

How the unfurlers actually differ.

A short technical note — tags first, then one place to try a URL.

Slack vs Discord

Slack is Open Graph–first with a sidebar thumb. Discord uses twitter:card to pick a large embed. Same URL, different crop.
