Threads does not publish its link-card rules. Meta’s crawler page does not name Threads. This check follows the Facebook tags that page and the sharing guide do publish: og:title, og:description, and og:image. Facebook renders an image under 600×315 as a small square and asks for images under 8 MB. Threads does not publish its own cutoff or size limit, so the card says which rule it borrowed. With those tags missing, Meta says the crawler may guess. This check does not guess.
